This enforced time indoors is a great time to form new positive habits or resurrect old ones that have been neglected in our busy lives.
There aren’t many better habits out there than reading books. It has been found to strengthen the brain, improve empathy, help with depression and reduce stress.
And one thing even better than reading? Reading books that David Bowie recommends.
The late pop icon often said he was at his happiest when reading and posted a list of his 100 favorite reads before his death in 2016.
So rather than complain we’ve watched everything on Netflix, try one of these books instead.
Because if we emerge from this pandemic a bit better read and a bit more like Bowie, that’s a silver lining right there.
